FAQ

Patang is a ecoconscious fashion initiative that creates limited-edition, hand-crafted hoodies using thrifted and deadstock fabrics. Each piece is embroidered by local artisans, making every hoodie one-of-a-kind.

Yes! Sustainability is at the core of Patang. We source thrifted or surplus fabric and collaborate with artisans instead of relying on mass production. This helps reduce textile waste and supports slow fashion.

Our process includes:

  • Sourcing thrifted or deadstock material

  • Printing or dyeing with custom artwork

  • Hand embroidery by skilled local artisans

  • Thoughtful packaging with minimal plastic

To keep your Patang clothes looking fresh and lasting long:

  • Hand wash or use the delicate cycle in cold water

  • Turn inside out before washing to protect embroidery

  • Use mild detergent and avoid bleach

  • Air dry flat to maintain shape (avoid tumble drying)

  • Do not iron directly on embroidery — turn inside out or use a cloth barrier

These simple steps will preserve the colors, fabric, and embroidery for years to come!
